HISTORY

Welcome To The Bay Podcast was established on May 26, 2022 and quickly became a hit within the Home and Away fan community.

The hosting panel of Lucas, Tori and Sara continued to provide content for the podcast for the year, and on June 24, 2022, we had our very first podcast guest on the show.

Juliet Godwin's interview closed out 2022's list of Podcast Guests, as the inaugural Welcome To The Bay Awards were opened, with Host Tori taking out the Most Popular Host 2022.

In 2023, Nicci joined the hosting panel and opened the year alongside Lucas with Matt Evans joining the podcast in a fan-favourite interview.

May 23, 2023 saw Welcome To The Bay release a new-look brand logo and has been in use since.

2023 was closed out with the legendary Georgie Parker on the show alongside Nicci.

Lucas was always one to have a knack for the entertainment industry, even at a very young age. Keen to take up a degree in primary education, he also certainly enjoys his music - creating it or listening to it! Sport is big for Lucas, getting behind his beloved West Coast Eagles in the AFL. Lucas' favourite era of Home and Away is 2016-19.

NICCI

Nicci loves editing, reading, singing, playing piano, listening to music, and writing in her spare time. She hopes to inspire people to always believe in themselves and do what they love. As much as Nicci loves watching Home and Away, she also enjoys sharing her love for her other favourite TV shows. She’s also been lucky enough to meet both Sarah Roberts and Tim Franklin in 2019. Nicci gets behind her team Collingwood in the AFL. Her favourite couples on Home and Away are Tane/Felicity, Kyle/Phoebe and Kirby/Theo.

The best part about being on the Welcome to The Bay team is spending time with my amazing friends and meeting the cast of Home and Away when interviewing them.

TORI

LEARN ABOUT TORI

Tori is a television production graduate from the UK. She interviews people for a living, but even that didn’t prepare her for interviewing such big stars on the podcast. In her free time, Tori enjoys editing, writing and reading, and, of course keeping up to date with everything Home and Away. Tori has been watching the show on and off since 2008. Her favourite characters to date have been April Scott, Jasmine Delaney and Bree Cameron.
